General Announcements:
Congratulations to Lady Kim Mack in the release of her book “How to Keep the Devil off your Guest List.” There will be a book signing on Sunday, February 12th here at Union Baptist Church. Come out and support our First Lady!!!!

Program Announcements:
TNT is back; join us for teaching at its absolute best by Rev. Dr. Sir Walter Mack, Jr. Tuesday, February 7th at 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm.  TNT- Where the Word is Explosive!!!!!

S.S.O.W. will resume on Wednesday, February 8th at 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm.  All are invited to attend.

Visit the Book Resource Center located in the breezeway. You can purchase a copy of a sermon on DVDs’ and CDs’. You can also pay your tithes by debit or credit cards.

All persons interested in volunteering on the following committees: Singles, Couples, and College Students Worship Leaders, Shoe Shine Booth, Transportation, Nursery, Resource Sunday, UBC Sporting Activities, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Family Vacation, please stop by the kiosk and front vestibule areas to sign up.

New Members Orientation will take place on Sunday, February 12th at 9:45 a.m.

Sweat Suit Sunday will be held on Sunday, February  12th.

Music Fine Arts Announcements:
The Youth Community Choir will rehearse Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30 pm during TNT. New members are encouraged to attend.

The Praise Team will sing for both Worship Services on Sunday, February 12th.  The Youth Community Choir will sing for the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service.  The attire for all is Sweat Suits or casual wear. 

Adult Mime will rehearse on Wednesday, Feb.8th, at 6:00 pm.  New Members are welcome.

WOW dancers will rehearse on Thursday, Feb.9th, at 6:00 pm. New members are welcome.

Favor will rehearse on Saturday, Feb 11th at 10:00 am.  New members are welcome.

UBC Kidz Mime (age 6-11) will rehearse on Saturday, Feb11th at 11am. New members are welcomed.

The Golden Angels will rehearse on Tuesday Feb 7th at 4:30 pm. New Members are welcome.  

The Handbell Choir will rehearse on Thursday, February 9, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. New members are encouraged to attend. A registration fee of $15.00 can be paid during the rehearsal. Contact Dr. Donna Wiggins for more information.

The Music and Fine Arts Department has a Suggestion Box in the kiosk area.  If you want to join any of the Music and Fine Arts Ministries or have any suggestions, please drop your information in the box.

Youth/Program Announcements:
Attention Parents!!! Off Da Hizzy Sunday School will officially begin in March!  Hizzy Sunday School will be from 9:45 am-10:45 am on Sunday mornings and we will have classes for all ages.  If you are interested in teaching, sign-up today at the kiosk or the front vestibule areas.

It’s Time for football!  Join the Spring Character Football League! Early registration will begin TODAY, before and after the morning worship services at the kiosk and front vestibule locations!  We need football players, cheerleaders, flag dancers and band members.  Registration is only $125 with a $100 deposit. Our season officially begins March 5th. Register today!

Join the Character Football League volunteer team! Character Football League is taking applications for cheerleading coaches, football coaches, trainers, concession stand workers and general volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity with the CFL pick up an application at the Youth Ministry Information Table located at the kiosk or back vestibule areas.   
Union Baptist Church is offering free tutoring on Tuesday’s from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm beginning February 13th.  This service is available for all youth. 

Attention all youth OFF Da Hizzy Youth Church will be held on Sunday, February 26th.  You don’t want to miss this exciting fellowship and worship service just for youth.  All youth are asked to represent your favorite sports teams by wearing your team jerseys, team-t-shirts, and paraphernalia’s.   

Missions and Evangelism:
The Nursing Home Ministry will meet Monday, February 6th at 6:30 pm at Grace Health Care Center.  Minister Patrick Milam will be the guest speaker, the Golden Angels will minister in dance and the Music and Fine Arts Department will participate.  All missionaries are invited to attend.

Community Announcements:
You are invited to celebrate Black History Month in Old Salem.  The Heritage Family Fest will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Come and enjoy a day of storytelling, historic tours, crafts, Gospel, Jazz, living history re-enactments and more.  For more information, please call Old Salem or contact the church office. Pre-Sale tickets are available at the kiosk.  The price for Adults is $10.00 and for Students $8.00.

Ms. Christine Goolsby in the passing of her mother, Mrs. Mollie Fulp, the funeral service will be held today at Baileytown Christian Church in Walnut Cove.  The visitation will begin at 2:30 pm and the funeral starts at 3:30 pm.
